As much as I like to blame Microsoft for problems, this isn't a Microsoft issue, it's HP picking a non-compatible camera. Dig around the web, there's probably a work around available that will make your webcam work.
better question why is HP building in camaeras that dont match the specs of the programs that wil MOST LIKELY use them?
