How to show what song im playing on WLM (Windows Live Messenger)?

anybody got any idea..i did search over here..and some said to "click on the arrow next to your personal message and click on "Show what i'm listening to" i did and there is a check mark...i have the latest version of WLM and lastest version of WMP

so .....and one more thing i dont wanna use itunes

just windows media player

In addition to the previous answer you will have to turn on the relevant Media Player plug in. Do this by goin gto Now Playing - Plug ins - Other - Windows Live Messenger plug in

Open up MSN Messenger.

Go to Tools ----%26gt;Options -------%26gt;Click the "Personal" tab

Proceed to click and check the box that says : "Show what I'm listening to through Windows Media Player".
