Very Simple.

Visit Msn spaces and you can find new people. You do need a Windows Live Passport to add friends however.

Here is the link:

click on "Contacts" next to "File" menu on top - and the first option will be "Add a contact" -

then a window will pop up and you will have to type in their email address.

There is like a box with an arrow in it next to the minimise and stuff click on it then go to contacts
go 2 live spaces
click on tis + button which is at top right, it means add contact.
