Windows Live Messenger screws with my PC. How do I remove it?

In the Control Panels%26gt;Add/Remove Programs, the Change/Remove button doesn't show!

try to do a restore first see if you get your change/remove button back if not then and goto Run then type: Msconfig and hit enter you will see a menu of startup items and 2 other start up menus do not mess with the other two only the one that says Startup hunt for the program you do not want to start up and uncheck that box close and reboot then it will show the menu again on restart close that menu and your set.

Try going to C:\program files\msn... well find where it is installed and try to find uninstall.exe and double click. If you can't find that its somehow been removed and you will need to delete the whole folder instead.

do u know how you said there was no button to remove rour msn? try clickng where you think theremove button should be. or restart your PC if it it doesn't work you must deleted sumthing by accident
Go to Add Remove Programs. Then click on Add Remove Windows Components. Uncheck the Windows Messanger Box and click OK.
Worse come to worse, try to use this uninstaller instead:



Windows Installer clean up - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301
go to control panel and click add and remove program's then scroll down to msn massager then click uninstall and follow the prompts.
