Ok the best way to solve your problem is to follow the instructions and download the latest version of MSN. as soon as you do that your problem will be solved!plus you will get new and special features in your latest version of MSN! so what are you waiting for? comeone! do it! it will be all right!
It means that you do actually have to download the latest version. I'm guessing, if it's come up saying that, that you haven't downloaded the new version for a while.

Sadly, MSN wants everyone to keep downloading and upgrading with them. If you don't, then they don't let you sign in on an older version. You can usually get away with it for a while, but, as you have found out, they eventually make you do it.

So, just go ahead and download it. =)
