My Windows Live Messenger Freezes?

It always freezes when i log in. I repaired it and reinstalled it. How do i fix it?

if it is recently my answer is that.. its microsoft server side issue. I have the same problem right now on both Vista and Windows XP machines...i Deleted both installations and reinstalled both on different hard drives even..i tried diffferent versions of windows live messenger and they still didn't work. I found my answer the hard way i read at microsoft.com that there is an issue with a server that holds certian clients live id information that reverts back to your contact list. but theres an error so it leave messenger hanging then freezes.. the problem will be resolved soon I imagine i wrote email to them about the problem as well.. For now only preinstalled windows messenger and web messenger will work.. or 3rd party like trillian..

It freezes maybe because you have to much memory,you have viruses/spyware %26amp; you need to clean up ur comp.

You may wanna delete fire you dont need,uninstall programs you dont need.
