MSN/Windows Live Messenger being defective, Help me?

Ever since last Thursday MSN has been acting weird and not letting me log on.

it says:

"Error code: 80072efd"

I searched on Yahoo! Answers a few days ago and did everything other uses had suggested to people who asked the same question. I have also tried checking the FAQ on MSN and doing the different steps they had suggested.

But NOTHING has worked. I've tried everything, including downloading that .zip thing that runs through and checks your MSN files (Answer to this Question asked by another user), as well as doing what the MSN site said which was to go to Start %26gt; Run %26gt; and enter the stuff it said.

Nothing has worked and It has been more than 5 days now.

Note:

- I have tried this with 2 other versions of MSN and they didn't work either, it gave the same error.

I am having that trouble now and it is the end of June. I am having trouble with yahoo now.. MY son can use his yahoo and msn but I cannot. I need the help this is driving me insane Report It


You could try the system restore:

Go To:

start

programs

accessories

systems tools

system restore

This process is completely reversable. And does not remove your personal files. Just go back one checkpoint at a time until our puter is working good again. You may need to reinstall some programs but his is the easiest and safest way I have found to correct most problems.
